We did some work for Mr. Harms a few years back. He was one of the nicest men I've ever met. I'm sorry for your loss Kurt he was a good man.
I enjoyed many auto shows with you and the burgers and beer after the shows. Rest in peace my friend.
Dick and I worshipped together at Christ the Shepherd Lutheran Church in Ortonville. He always came up to me to share some wonderful story or thought about his life, object lessons that reflected the message of our worship. He truly was a man of deep faith who loved God and family and friends. I wish I could celebrate his life this weekend with you but I will be out of town. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
Come give to me your hand
Land of all eternity
The wonders of the things unknown
The brightest hues
The clearest sounds
The sweetest smells
Your weary and your tired feet
Have reached the shores of no defeat
Here tears will turn to ornaments
Which rain upon the path you stand
Your broken body mend and whole
Is cushioned with love
And cradled with song
Familiar voices reach your ears
Mingled with laughter
Oh heavenly song

So sorry to hear of Dick Harms passing on to life after life. Dick was a true man of faith in God and a good person who really loved others and loved life! He loved the Jaguar brand and was involved with many auto shows over the years and was a well loved person to many in the Jaguar Club. We were fortunate to know him and to share in a banquet with him where he wore his famous Jaguar print suit that he had custom made for the occasion! I, Cyndi , even drove his FType in a caravan with my husband Darrell and Matt Nold to the Woodward cruise in 2016! His colorful personality shines! He will be missed! But never forgotten! Rest In Eternal Peace my Friend!
