Dear Joan, Wayne, Brian, Glenn, Paul and Tracy,
I am terribly saddened to learn of your dear husband and father’s passing. Bob was a loving and esteemed husband and father, a valued friend to many, and a respected legal advisor, jurist and public servant in his community. He will be deeply missed. The friendship our family has had with your family is one of our most valued treasures.
Bill, who has been in heaven for 31 years now, has already shaken hands with him, has given him a welcoming hug, and will make sure the transition is a smooth one for Bob.

Lu Anne and I are said to hear of your loss.
As a practicing attorney, Judge Carr was a pleasure to appear before him. He always treated me and my clients with dignity and understanding. And, he truly enjoyed a good joke. To his family, you were very lucky to have and love him.
